چکیده

A concise and factual abstract is required (maximum length 100 words). The abstract should statebriefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is oftenpresented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone. For this reason, Referencesshould be avoided, but if essential, then cite the author(s) and year(s). Also, non-standard oruncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential they must be defined at their first mentionin the abstract itself. Graphical abstractAlthough a graphical abstract is optional, its use is encouraged as it draws more attention to the onlinearticle. The graphical abstract should summarize the contents of the article in a concise, pictorial formdesigned to capture the attention of a wide readership. Graphical abstracts should be submitted as aseparate file in the online submission system. Image size: Please provide an image with a minimum

Roles of ascorbic acid on physiological, biochemical and molecular system of Lycopersicon esculentum Mill. against salt stress

Tomato is one of the important plants in the world as a food, medicine etc. it is sensitive to abiotic stresses and its crop is affected by them. Moreover, Ascorbic acid (AsA) is one of the universal of plant defence mechanism against the stresses specially salinity and drought to scavenger’s reactive oxygen species. According to global warming and scarcity of water resources, subsequently dryi...

New records and hosts of the Curvularia species in Iran

In present study, eight isolates of the genus Curvularia, recovered from plants of the cowpea, maize and bottlebrush in Khuzestan province, were identified based on molecular phylogeny in combination with morphology. The mycelial biomass of the isolates, produced in potato-dextrose-Broth, were collected by passing through filter papers and freeze-dried. DNA was extracted using a phenol...

Identification of aggressive species of Trichoderma from button mushroom farms (Agaricus bisporus) using morphological and molecular methods

Different species of Trichoderma especially T. harzianum (Th2 biotype in Europe and Th4 in America) considered as causal agent of green mould disease on button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) casing beds. In this study, 100 fungal isolates were collected and purified from different mushroom growing units in Tehran province and Urmia (NW Iran). Totally, 60 isolates of T. harzianum, 27 isolates of T...

Molecular and biochemical protective roles of sodium nitroprusside in tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) under salt stress

Salinity stresses act as inhibitor factors of plant growth. They can change the physiological characteristics and limit the production of crops. Sodium nitroprusside (SNP) is a stable free radical which use as a signalling molecule in plants and participates in various plant’s physiological, biochemical and molecular processes and also in plant’s responses to environmental stresses. We investig...
